We are always looking for ways to innovate and improve. We saw a need in the market, and created a surface well abandonment cut-and-cap procedure. Our internal cutting tools are available for: The production and surface casing, risers, and pilings. We also have the capacity to pull pilings out of the ground with our Equipment. When cut and capping, a regulatory board-approved plug is installed, and the hole is back filled with a skid steer.
Depending on the size of the pipe, it takes 30-45 minutes to complete the cut from start to finish, the entire job is generally completed in under 2 hours. This is a vast improvement on conventional methods which requires an excavation (with proper egress and backfill) and can take several hours.
We do not require water or vacuum services with our cut-and-cap procedure and we introduce no foreign water or contamination to the site. The site is left in better condition than when we found it!
